Library Re-opening Guidelines
Libraries are following strict guidelines in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Daily operation includes spacing individual users and limiting the number of people present in the building. The library will implement these phases in accordance with recommendations made by the Governor, the Centers for Disease Control, and the Library Board of Commissioners. The plan is subject to change with statewide directives from the Governor’s Office.
Phase 2
The library is open for business at 50% occupancy. Meeting rooms are available with social distancing practices in place. Masks are required.
Patrons are asked to return books in the book drop. (All returned materials will be quarantined for a period of 3 days before being placed back into circulation.)
We offer a special “drive-up” service for elderly, high-risk, or physically challenged patrons daily.
We will continue to be “fine free” for the rest of 2020.
Library staff is required to wear masks and gloves while working with the public. Thanks for your patience during this time.
We look forward to seeing you at your library!
